"I expected a lot more for what..."
I expected a lot more for what I paid. The moss barely took, and after waiting to see if it would improve, it just didn’t really deliver. For the price, I wouldn’t say it was worth it.

"Save your time — delivery was a mess"
I ordered moss for a project and the delivery just didn’t show up when it was supposed to. I ended up waiting around with barely any clear updates, which was super frustrating. By the time it finally arrived, I didn’t even need it anymore. if you’re on any kind of timeline, save your time and look somewhere else.

I checked out mossacres.com the prices felt steep for what they’re selling. I was interested at first, but once I saw the cost, I was like nah, I can’t really justify spending that much.

I felt kind of pressured to decide quickly once it arrived because I needed it for a project, but the color was a letdown. In the photos it looked like a nice bright green, and what I got was way more dull with a bunch of brown and yellow patches. It might freshen up or grow in better over time, but right out of the box it looked older than I was hoping for.

I ordered this moss for a spot in my yard and was really hoping it would take, but most of it turned brown within a couple weeks. I followed the care sheet closely, so I’m not sure what went wrong. It’s not even about the money as much as it is the time and effort of getting it placed and trying to keep it alive, only for barely any of it to make it. Disappointing overall...

"Moss was disappointing out of the box"
I was actually in a good mood and excited to use this when it arrived, but the moss looked rough as soon as I opened the box. It was dry, patchy, and not nearly as green as I expected. A few pieces were already falling apart, which made it hard to work with. I still tried to use it, but it didn’t look great. For the price, I expected better.

The moss showed up later than I was expecting, which was kind of frustrating. And when I opened it, some of it looked dry right away. It did end up growing a little, so it wasn’t a total loss, but yeah, I’m still not super happy with the order overall.

I ordered a moss kit, but what showed up was not what I picked at all. The size was wrong and a couple of the items were missing too. I emailed them about it, but I still haven’t gotten a clear fix or answer. Like, make it make sense. Frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t order from them again...

"Packaging didn’t hold up"
Box showed up crushed. Moss everywhere inside. Some of it dry, some broken up. Just a mess.

Felt like it wasn’t packed with much care. I couldn’t use it how I planned. Frustrating after waiting on it. 1 star.

I ordered moss from Moss Acres thinking it would be a simple way to fill in a few spots in my yard. I followed the directions as closely as I could, and at first it looked decent, so I was hopeful. But after a few weeks, most of it just didn’t take. A couple patches stayed green, but a lot of it turned brown or didn’t spread at all. Maybe my yard just wasn’t the right fit, but for the price, I expected it to grow better. Shipping was fine, but the whole process ended up feeling like a simple thing made way harder than it needed to be.

"Had to chase for updates"
After I placed my order, I got the receipt email, but there weren’t really any helpful updates after that. I ended up having to email a few times to ask what was going on, and the replies were slow and didn’t give me much detail. It just felt a bit frustrating not knowing where things stood.

I ordered from Moss Acres, and at first glance the moss looked fine. Not amazing, not terrible. But when I started handling it, a few pieces were already kind of dry around the edges. Just not as moist as I was expecting when it showed up.

I did follow the watering notes. Kept an eye on it. Tried to give it a fair shot. Some of it settled in okay, but a few spots never really came back. Maybe my yard played a part, sure, but for what I paid, I expected it to arrive in better shape.

I ordered the moss and the instructions left me confused. It felt like some steps were just missing, so I ended up guessing on things like watering and where to place it. For the price, I really expected clearer guidance. It was frustrating, frustrating enough that I wouldn’t want to deal with it again

"Not as eco-friendly as I hoped"
I bought this thinking it would be a more environmentally responsible choice, but the packaging felt excessive, and I couldn’t find much clear information about how sustainable their process actually is. Maybe I overlooked something, but it left me feeling a bit misled. For a company selling moss products, I feel like it’s only fair to expect more care and transparency around eco practices.
